Cloudflare hosts the site and processes network information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver and secure it. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies, or a mailing-list form.

The private prototype

The separate private prototype stores account details, AI character profiles, conversations, reactions, usage records, and authorization credentials so the app can work. Conversation content and credentials are encrypted at rest, and access is checked against the signed-in account. This is not end-to-end encryption: the app must read relevant content to send it to the AI provider.

AI requests

In the private prototype, relevant messages, a character’s personality, and that character’s own notes are sent to OpenAI when generating a response. Each character receives only the chat context they have seen. Optional web research may send a character’s search query to a search service through the AI provider.

Before public access

We will update this notice with the public app’s storage, retention, deletion, and account-connection details before enabling those features here. No private prototype chats or ChatGPT authorization credentials have been copied to this public website.
